Navigating inside VRML worlds
After downloading a VRML file, you can take a virtual flight inside the model by using the mouse controls. Usually , a forward motion is achieved by clicking the left mouse button and dragging the mouse with the button still pressed. Tilting, sliding and examining the models can be initiated by using the on-screen controls of the viewer. The objects within VRML 2.0 models can have actions triggered by a mouse click.

The model components may have hyperlinks to other virtual worlds or web pages. These links are activated by double-clicking the left mouse button. A single right-click will open a menu of viewer options and preset starting points for navigating inside the model. Press and hold the mouse button to simulate right-clicking on Macintosh systems
